But Jesus did away with the old laws....now you must only love thy lord with all thy heart soul and mind--and love thy neighbor as thyself.

Those are the new commandments. The old laws were rejected by JC.

Or as the early church understood it ;) Kosher laws were done away with really by Paul and he fought intensely with Peter and James and John about requiring new converts to Judaism (as they understood it) to keep the kosher laws.
