To suggest that her college major and apparent interests make her some kind of super-spy plant out to extort something, who knows what, from the conservatives is BIZARRE.

How the HELL can Melvin be slobbering about conservatives being VICTIMIZED by this when one of their loudest and most-followed representatives WENT RIGHT INTO IT when he had the full choice to keep talking about the mandate instead of about sex?
because the GOP has to establish the narrative that this isn't about women, it isn't about reproductive health, and it isn't about discrimination against anyone but religious institutions -- so ANYTHING that points out that the issue is totally about women and their reproductive health and their choices has to be denounced as a distraction. There are people who do it on this very board.
