Quoted from a friend: "So, if you don't believe we're a plutocracy, how do you explain the fact that the rich have bought the judges to create more wealth? As the piece said, it's a closed system where the private company pays the politicians to create laws that make the private company more money, and then the company pays judges to enforce those laws to make the company more money."

Case in point: The new GA immigration law, modeled on the Arizona law and recently signed by Gov. Nathan Deal. Second largest supporter? The Corrections Corporation of America. All immigrants arrested in GA under this law will be held in for-profit detention centers operated by the CCA at $67 per person per day...all to be paid for by the taxpayers of GA. Approximately 200-300K inmates are expected.

(The largest backer of the bill? The Ku Klux Klan, one of the major supporters of the GA GOP. Though some people here refuse to believe that.)
