I live in New Jersey, and never before have I heard of a man winning an election where his platform for winning is not having one. Christie has hardly stated any plans he has for the state.

Corzine on the other hand, despite his flaws, laid down what needed to be done. People didn't like that and booted him out.

Honesty can get you nothing here in New Jersey.

I agree completely. I live in the state too and it seems to me Christie's entire campaign was saying he's not Corzine.

The people in the state unfortunately seemed to blame Corzine for everything that went wrong whether it was his fault or not. I don't see how Christie could make the claim that Corzine was responsible for the national economic crisis (caused by Bush) or the job loss tied to the Wall Street collapse (caused by Wall Street and Bush). I also can't understand why everyone seems to have expected Corzine to fix the decades of bad management committed by his predecessors in a matter of a few months.
