The apartheid argument isn't entirely invalid - it's hard to straight-facedly deny that Israel's Palestinian population are treated as second-class citizens. The real problem is that everywhere else they've tried to go, they've been treated as third-class citizens by nations which they thought would welcome them.
First there are not israeli palestinians - israeli arabs. Druze and bedouins are treated fairly because they are loyal citizens... the rest on the other hand not so much. But even with treason Israel gives large liniency - remember when arab members of knesset cheered for israeli losses and aided the enemy? They are still in Knesset.
